AUTHOR VITA

In addition to a lifelong interest in art, especially the paintings of Pieter Bruegel, The Elder, Dr. Robert L. Bonn has enjoyed a career in sociology as a professor at City University of New York (CUNY); conducted research on religion, education, and criminal justice; authored the noted textbook Criminology (McGraw-Hill); and written critical book reviews, articles, and research reports. His work has been published in many periodicals, including The World and I, Criminal Justice Ethics, and Logos. Dr. Bonn has a B.A. from Columbia College and a Ph.D. from New York University. He lives in New York City and Rome and travels extensively.
